Church Planting
What! Really?! No way? Crap. No- it will be good. Scratch that. it will be great!. Seriously? Ok.
Where you go I'll go. Where you lead I will go.
Where you go I'll go. Where you lead I will go.
It isn't all rainbows and butterflies
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am when I think about going back to Europe. Every day I discover something new about this process. There are so many fun and exciting details to plan and new things to research.
Today though, I realize that not everything is so rosy when planning a move that is life altering. Let's be honest - it's not just today or this week- it's been many times I've found myself at this conclusion. But this week and yesterday I really felt the struggle. I'm frustrated, I'm a bit discouraged and I'm in pain.

A Saint and a Prayer.
In recent events of finding out I was accepted to school in Northern Ireland, this is the first year I've really thought much about St. Patrick's day. A friend shared this and it seems so fitting for the prayer that is in my heart right now. St. Patrick did much for the nation of Ireland because God was calling him and working out the pathway of his much distress life. I hope that I can be an example that he was and follow in God's light in the same way.

A Journey Began.
Spring 2009
Count back about 2 years ago to a conversation with my friend Obie, the youth pastor with whom I've been serving with for some time now... "Hey, I met someone this week and I realized through Facebook that you know him. I'm thinking teaming with him (another youth pastor) and his teens and heading to Northern Ireland for a short term missions trip this summer. Would you be interested in coming?"
